What I’m Loving This Month – January 2016

To continue my effort to post more regularly, I’m also going to start doing some regular posts. This is the first of my “What I’m Loving This Month” posts. Some will be running or workout related, some will be random, okay, a lot will be random. Just may way of sharing some of the things I’ve discovered, even if they aren’t necessarily new to my life.

Beautycounter Color Pinch Cream Blusher in Hibiscus

Since I’ve been doing some morning gym sessions, I’ve got a travel make-up kit that’s loaded with easy to maneuver beauty supplies that also make me look great. My favorite in that kit is this little beauty. Simple, sleek, and easy to build a little or a lot of color. In a pinch, I’ve also used it as eye shadow or lip color. The best parts: it’s reasonably priced AND is non-toxic.

Saucony Guide 9’s

I bought these shoes last fall at the release party for the new Everrun technology and had not logged a ton of miles on them. Lately I’ve been breaking them in, and remembered why I bought them: they are incredible. The Everrun foam is super responsive and comfy, they have a good ride with a little guidance and are light even without being a low profile shoe. The bright Berry color doesn’t hurt either! In another fun twist with this update: price drop.

Silk Unsweetened Cashew Milk

I don’t eat dairy products so I’ve tried nearly every plant based milk out there. Last year, I was pumped when Silk began making cashew milk because I love how smooth and creamy their soy and almond milks are, and I’d heard cashew milk was naturally more creamy. Fast forward to today, I rarely make a Shakeology smoothie with a different kind of milk, because it’s unsweetened, it’s soy free, and it’s so naturally creamy it gives a fabulous texture to any smoothie. They also make sweetened vanilla, unsweetened vanilla, and chocolate!

S’well Bottles

I own both a big and small one of these babies, and am obsessed. They are barreled inside and keep hot liquids hot and cold liquids cold for hours. All summer I used them at the pool to keep hydrated and cool, and over the weekend tested it in the sauna after my workout. Verdict: you’ll need a towel to hold the metal bottle but the water inside was still perfectly cold. Because it’s barreled it doesn’t sweat, even if you do, and is perfect for everything from travel, or gym to just lounging around the house.

What are you loving this month?

This post is not sponsored, nor have I received any promotions or discounts on any products mentioned in this post. All products were purchased on my own, and use them regularly!

  1. I remember that swell bottle very well! I always think of you when I see them. My favorite new thing (even though it’s not really a thing) is discovering that I don’t have to wash my hair everyday and can just blow dry it quickly to style it. Game changer.
