It’s time to say Goodbye

I originally started this blog to help get me back on track after a series of life changes that led me to decide running and focusing on my health needed to be my top priority.

In the last 3+ years this blog has given me more opportunities than I could have imagined. It got me through a number of rough patches, several moves, and several job changes. It helped me meet dozens of real life friends, including a few who are now among my very best friends. From dinners in Chicago, to brunches in Philly, and girls weekends in Napa, to weddings, and, of course, memorable Disney race experiences. There’s so many amazing people who this blog has brought to my life, and I could not imagine my life without them.

At one point, being a running blogger was part of my intro when I met new people, but it’s been a while since I’ve even thought about myself as one. I still love connecting with people, being inspired by everyone on social media, but have reached a point where I don’t feel like I have much to offer, nor am I very inspired to share my journey as I once was.

Life changes, and maybe someday I’ll be re-inspired to share my journey, victories and struggles again, but for now, I feel that saying goodbye is the right thing to do. Thank you for following my aimless wandering through life, recipes, and a ridiculous amount of bad puns.

Hope to see you again someday!

I can’t remember how I originally came across your blog, Cyanne, but thanks for all you’ve done! You introduced me to my first accountability group on facebook… and shakeology! Keep up the amazing work (and congrats on that foot of yours slowly healing)!!
